Little g’s first campout

Little g did awesome on her first ever campout. We went to Ponderosa Pines campground by Mt. Nebo, part of the Wasatch Cache Uinta National Forest. The campsite we were at was right by a stream which provided plenty of entertainment for Big E and his cousins. The photos are of little g with her cousin and grandma as well as a photo of the Devils Kitchen, a short hike off the beautiful Mt. Nebo scenic byway which we explored the next morning. It was lots of fun for everyone!

Hi! I'm Mountain Mom. I live with my husband and three young kids in the mountains near Sundance, Utah. When we're not hiking, biking, skiing and camping, I spend my time doing Mom stuff and reading. Summer of 2016 we traveled over 7,000 miles along the US National Park to Park Highway.

  1. Wow, it's so beautiful up there! I love that you're starting your kids camping at a young age. We didn't and it made the first several times miserable, as in leaving-the-campground-at-2am miserable.
