Today (June 4, 2016) is National Trails Day and what better way to celebrate than hiking the best 3 mile hike in the nation? That’s how Bryce Canyon National Park describes the Queens Garden/Navajo Loop hike through hoodoos.

I can see why, the scenery is beautiful. The tots prevented me from finishing the full trail, but I was able to explore this otherworldly area on stop number two of our National Park to Park Highway Tour. Enjoy these photos of Bryce Canyon National Park and stay tuned for more of our National Park to Park Highway Tour.

Hi! I'm Mountain Mom. I live with my husband and three young kids in the mountains near Sundance, Utah. When we're not hiking, biking, skiing and camping, I spend my time doing Mom stuff and reading. Summer of 2016 we traveled over 7,000 miles along the US National Park to Park Highway.

  1. All nights that aren't cloudy are that starry. It was beautiful. We only rode on the path for a mile or two with the kids. Inside the park it's 6-7 miles but right outside the park Red Canyon has a 20+ mile bike trail that would make for a beautiful scenic ride.
