The great Grand Canyon. When I first saw this sweeping, awe inspiring landscape I felt inspired and joyful. Maybe that’s cliche, but it’s true. My kids saw the canyon and then immediately asked to go to the gift shop.

Great post. We went to GC a few weeks ago as well. We considered the South Kaibab Trail with our twin daughters (5 months) but had to hold off when the weather was too hot and the fact we couldn't put them in a backpack carrier yet. Looked like an awesome trip!

Good call skipping the hike. We found out later that a woman died on this trail after falling into the canyon. Wrangling our baby was not very safe.
