Mount Rainier National Park Photo Journal

Sharing is caring:
Mount Rainier National Park was created in 1899 to protect the 14,000 foot peak and its surroundings. The forests, glaciers, wildflowers and rivers are beautiful, as this Mount Rainier photo journal will show. But with such a huge mountain in their midst, the weather can be unpredictable.

It rained. Wind gusted. Temperatures fell. Even wearing every warm piece of clothing I had available, I have never felt so cold in the summer. The temperature stayed around fifty degrees with rain and wind. With that in mind, I hope you enjoy these photos from our National Park to Park Highway Mount Rainier stop from the warmth of your home or office.
